    EMOM Timer

A free EMOM timer — every minute on the minute. Start your reps at the top of each minute and rest with whatever time is left; the timer calls the next minute so you know when to go again. Preset to ten minutes, and settable to any length.

    Questions

    Frequently asked questions

    What does EMOM mean?
Every Minute On the Minute. You begin a fixed set of reps at the start of each minute and rest for whatever time remains, so working faster earns more rest — which makes the workload self-scaling.
How long should an EMOM be?
Ten to twenty minutes is typical. Shorter EMOMs suit heavy or technical lifts, while longer ones work for conditioning. This timer opens at 10 minutes and can be set to any number of rounds.
What if I cannot finish the reps inside the minute?
That is the built-in ceiling of the format: if you need the whole minute to finish, the load or rep count is too high. Cut the reps and keep the structure so you still get rest at the top of each minute.
Can I do an E2MOM or E90s instead?
Yes. Set the work period to 2 minutes, 90 seconds, or whatever interval you need — the timer is not restricted to whole minutes.
